Lyneta Smith is the author of multiple award-winning Curtain Call: A Memoir. She has also published several stories and articles in national and local periodicals and anthologies, including several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, Heart Renovation: A Construction Guide to Godly Character, and Clubhouse, Jr. Other publications include Credo, Nature’s Friend, Vista, Living Light News and Refresh Bible Study Magazine. She earned her B.A. at Oregon State University.

Lyneta and her husband Doug are happy empty nesters living in Middle Tennessee. As a writer and editor, she loves the flexibility to enjoy the grandma life. You can also find her down at the local coffee shop with friends or teaching ladies’ Bible study at church. After a long day’s work, she often settles down on the couch next to Doug with an embroidery or crochet project while he reads the classics aloud. Their favorites so far are Sherlock Holmes, and any character Dickens has created.
